What is Performance Coaching?

 

Performance Coaching is having a partner to support, guide, and encourage you to become the best version of your professional self. Performance coaching seeks to identify areas where your professional performance is weak and then focus on the extension, development, and improvement of those areas. This type of coaching combines making various positive changes in your thinking and your actions to change your status quo and make identifiable improvements in your execution.

 

The process starts with enhancing your self-knowledge through thought-provoking assignments, periods of intentional mindfulness, and subsequent performance coaching sessions to investigate and integrate what you discovered.

Internal scripts - and work to improve your inner dialogue and overcome negative thoughts by challenging the scripts that run by default in your subconscious or consciousness.

Self-image - and what makes up the construct of your self-image. How do you see yourself, and is it aligned with how others see you and how you want others to see you?

Negative behaviors - identifying and isolating behavior or thoughts that hinder your success, such as fear, indecision, or ineffective communication.

Goal Setting -  discover and set practical, meaningful, and achievable goals and objectives. Working day after day without clearly defined professional goals is similar to driving blindfolded. Without a target, you are driving without a thought of the "why" or the "where." If you are not where you would like to be in your career, then someone else has been in the driver's seat.

Improving your skills – all growth occurs outside your comfort zone, and your professional development and potential increase exponentially when you enhance the quality of your performance related to specific tasks, roles, and activities. 

Maximizing your strengths - explore the roles that capitalize on your strengths.

Minimizing your weaknesses - identify areas of weakness and learn how to counter or overcome them.

Addressing specific issues - such as dealing with a toxic co-worker, preparing for a performance review, what to do following one, how to have difficult conversations with co-workers or your boss, etc.

Personalized One-On-One Guidance and Expert Coaching

for Professional Performance Enhancement

  • Personalized 90-minute coaching sessions – self-paced and confidential (all services offered remotely)

  • Focused pre-assignment exercises for completion prior to our working session

  • Connecting 1:1 for each coaching session, I will provide customized coaching based on your personal objectives.  Some benefits include clarity on direction, breakthrough challenges, and obstacles, etc.

  • You will experience ongoing assignment feedback and collaborative brainstorming that focuses on learning, decision-making, and creating a robust plan that will drive the quickest forward momentum and help you reach your objectives.
